i jus recently picked up a 1990 integra with a b18a1 for 400 hundred bucks the outside has some sun spots but the motor is in perfect condition. i was wondering wat to do to the motor i wanna run boost so should i change it to ls vtec of jus build the stock block and head. i wanted to do new pistons and rods but i didnt now if i should sleeve it so if anyone can help please thanks

 

do compression and leakdown tests first to determine the health of the engine. if everything checks out good, boost away. you can easily make 250-300whp on a stock b18a with a good fuel system and tune. when you want to make more hp reliably then you can look into a set of rods and pistons.
