Default blew the gsr

yup the bitch is def blown... car shut off on me one day and i couldnt figure out way.. went through checking for spark and fuel cranked it like 500 times! Sometimes it would turn on but then again right off.. checked my timing, wiring.. everything.. so last i decided to check compression... i pull out the sparkplug and the bottom of it is in pieces.. so i think i found the problem.. i rip off the head and behold what looks like apiston hit a valve.. bent it.. broke it.. and welded the end of the valve to the pistons... so with all the cranks i had chunks of my valve seat missing in my head.. so i rush to the machine shop and drop my head off for emergency surgery.. looks like she is gonna make it.. so while he has the ehad.. i push the car inside the garage. .close the hood and leave it.. well stupid me.. i guess water/antifreeze must of spilled when i pulled the head cuz now i gotta rust village on my walls.. so i pulled the motor out.. took it all apart and am gonna take it to get honed tomorow.. shit i have the worst luck!!!!

my question is..

A. why would this of happend. what would be a reason to make this happen.. i have a theory but am not sure..

and B. how bad do my walls look.. I notice on like 3 cylinders there is a decent scratch along the walls... hope he can hone it out without going 81.5mm since i already bought my pistons.. anyway here are some pics for your amusement.. enjoy ... p.s. i also included pics of some bearings.. i dunno if they look normal or not.. lemme know.. also how would i tell if i spun a bearing.. thanks for the help

and now for the stupid me leaving water on aluminum pics.....

how bad do those scratches look?

It looks like you dropped a valve.

The whole engine needs a major rehaul. I don't think a hone will be able to repair those bores and those bearings are spun.

your crank is probably toast. a resleeve is in order with those kind of scratches.
