Default Recommendations for engine internals learning

Hello all
I am doing my homework for a future swap. I am not foreign to engine work. I do plenty of basic car work myself. However when it gets to internals....bore, head work, port, etc... it's all new to me. Does anyonen have a good book they can refer me to for proper learning of my Honda's engine?
Thank you

high performance honda builders handbook gives a good overview. and of course the trusty helms manual is a must read before attempting any internal work.

Hello Snoop
I have both. I am halfway through the Honda performance one, it is alot of Torque and horsepower toalk so far.. The Helms is more of an assembly perspective. I was interested in something that might get into the science behind internals and the rest of the engine as a whole.

Thank you
