Default 1986 Acura Integra engine swap

I have a 1986 acura integra and want to put a b18 engine from a 1990 acura integra...my question is, will the b18 bolt right in to my teg? or will i have to get modified motor mounts? I'm just trying to figure out what i'll need to do the swap...thanks...

hasport makes a mount kit for this swap. but you'll still need lots of other parts and it's going to cost you way more than what it's going to be worth in the end.

well I already have the engine tranny and computer for it...I know that I'll need to get the cables for the tranny and shift linkage...i'm just trying to get all the parts i need for it...if the body weren't in good condition i wouldn't even mess with the swap, but the car was a southern car all it's life and was well taken care of so I figured i would make a toy out of it...i plan on having at least $10,000 or more into it by the time i get done. It was my brothers old car so I figured it would be cool to pimp it out and drive it down to texas to show him...he doesn't know i'm doing any of this with the car...i figured it would be a fun project.

wow that's a waste of $10k. but it's your money. you'll have to figure out a way to convert the car to obd, since it currently is pre-obd.

nah I don't think waste. I just don't think many people have respect for the first gens...The car was given to me plus there is no rust on the car...it looks brand new still... and in the end my car will be cranking around 400 hp or more...one of my buddies builds engines, so I'm having him build mine up. I did some more research on the swap. I already figured out how to convert everything. If I only threw the engine and tranny in the car I would have probably 1,000 to 2,000 into it, but all the upgrades I'm doing to the engine is where the real cost comes in. so even if i did have a newer car i would still have over 10,000 into it...what I think what matters is what the car is worth to you. I plan on getting a second and 3rd generation integra and building them up too...I just figured it would be some fun projects to work on.
