hey guys i was just wondering what does it mean by open headers and how do I do that?

 

To run with an open header means to run with an exhaust setup that terminates just a few inches past the final header tube collector... with no mufflers whatsoever.

Do that on your daily driver and you'll be on a first-name basis with every police officer in your town.

We ran my friends 56 chevy truck with open headers hehe, nothing like the unmuffled sound of a sbc . I wouldn't do it to a newer car though since if you get pulled over and have no cat hooked up you're screwed.

 

do it if you like the smell of exhaust gases in your interior

 

i would do it, and add the big ricer sign down the side of my car, maybe some apc signs with it

 

we ran my friends g2 gsr to the muffler shop like that, damn that thing was loud
