Default NE1 here w/ a B20B and Crower cams?

Here's my car...98 Integra LS...
Here's my engine...98 B20B, 99 Si tranny, excedy stage 2 clutch and flywheel, Crower stage 1 cams, I/H/ 2 1/2" E. I am peicing this together and it should all arrive by Sat. My q is, who here has a B20B? Are you happy w/ it? Does ne1 have one w/ a mild set of cams? Is it a big difference. I'm trying to figure out what to expect. I have had some pretty fast hybrids I've built but am looking to do my Teg up now.Any feedback is appreciated.

The mild stage 1 cams won't do much, I assume you are talking about the 402 cams. I would only get the 404's, but then you need springs & retainers, and headwork to maximize their potential, but they pull hard. I know someone that had 403's and were disappointed, wishing they had gone with the 404's.

DB7:

You have the B20Z right? If so, those have much better numbers than an LS anyways. The B20B is the crappy version of the JDM B20Z.

JDM B20Z = 146hp & 133tq
USDM B20B = 126 hp & 133tq
B18B1 = 142 hp & 127 tq

As you can see the JDM B20 kills both of them but it's rare.

Question:
When you purchased your 403's did you alter your redline? I was thinking of getting cams for my B18B but wasn't exactly sure how that would change my shifting points. If I got the 404's what would I need to alter?

Thanks.
