Default gs-r or b20 pistons

I have a 92 integra ls ( db1 ) i want 2 know what pistons would be good 2 use for a all motor setup maybe some forced induction down the road. I know the gsr pistons will raise my compression and the b20 will lower it. whats better and yes i searched

b20 pistons are 84mm. your stock bore is 81mm. no way to fit those in there unless you resleeve and overbore. at which point i wouldnt even use b20 pistons.

p30 or p73 pistons are ideal for NA. not so much so for boost.

Yes i know i have to bore it . Im about 2 send my block 2 a machine shop but i havn't decided what pistons 2 use or if i want keep the stock ones . I just heard that if I use gsr pistons I have to modify the pistons and rods. Has anybody used ITR pistons on a ls bock if so ,what do I have 2 do 2 slap those babys on.

to use itr or any "R" piston with ls rods you'll need to shave 1mm off each side of the small end of the rod

you only have to resleeve and over bore if you use the b20 pistons as they are 84mm. every other b series piston is 81mm and will drop right in, provided the cylinder walls are still in good condition.

p30's will but your compression at ~11.5:1 and will work nicely with crower 403's.

with the stroke on an ls and those cams, i dont think you'll have to worry about losing any bottom end. and you'll want a 3 angle valve job.
