Hey,
How high do you think the stock type r head could go (w/ stock cams)? when would those cams run out of power?

 

Probably fall on its face around 9 grand, but quite frankly I'd be afraid of floating a valve at around 8900...

Depends on which year ITR as well... 2001 got CTR cam specs...

 

i thought the ITR got the CTR intake cam after 99...cause the exhaust cams have always been the same...and you can take an ITR/CTR to 9k but i wouldnt suggest it...from my understanding they are great till about 8700..after that it gets kinda scary to rev that high and hard
