Default QUICK HELP.. distributor replacement question

Im not getting power to plugs so I changed my plugs, wires, cap and rotor and still nothing. I tested the wires going to the distributor and they have power going to them. Im sure then that it is my distributor.. My question is should I buy this one on ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1865040934 with the missing part? Im thinking about offering $50.00 to buy it now or maybe just wait it out. Or do you think that I should just buy a new one from a parts store for about $200 w/ core?

It may be just one thing inside of your distributor and not the whole thing.

Of course, if you can afford the 200 bones you might as well get the new part, that'll definately fix the problem.

Bad distributor huh?. What?.. Did you ground the coil??.. Is it getting sufficent power??.. Just because it is getting power doesn't mean it's enough. It needs at least 9.6Volts. Nothing less or the car won't start..
