machine shop experts... block fixable????? *pix*

the guy that sold me the block bent the transmission bolt while unscrewing and took a chip off the block. fixable????? can the shop weld it back together and re-thread the hole???

the machine shop will have to weld it up, then machine the deck and tranny side flat and drill out and tap the hole. if it damaged the oil drain then theres more machining to be done.
