Default Just bought a beater Hybrid

I just picked up a 1986 Civic with a B16A1 engine. Head gasket is blown and the car is pretty rough but I only paid $15 for it as a junk car. The tow driver never knew it was anything but a s#$%box.

Sorry to break it to you but that is not a b16a....... looks more like a zc motor or a b18b.

well i believe that a zc is a direct bolt in hence the stock looking motor mounts, so its more than likely its a zc...... plus I know for a fact that the intake manifold for a b18b is alot different the that one.

Not bad for $15, but not a b16.

Actually, I knew it was a D16A, but made a typo.

(My brain and fingers were DREAMING of a B16......!!)

Either way it's a quick little beater..............
