Default Type R Intake Manifold

I have a 1991 JDM B16A in my CRX. I heard a Type R Intake manifold was better than stock. I've read where it was a direct bolt on mod for JDM B16A1992 or later. Will it not fit my 1991 JDM B16A?

I've read where I could get 6-7hp from the Type R ITM and my buddy has one laying around in his garage.

Then swipe that biotch up!

as for the power gains... It's really not going to benifit you until you upgrade your cams, valve terrain, etc. Best time to install is when your ready to tune. Your cam changeover will probably need to be raised as well. Best to let the Dyno judge though.
