help please

Default help please

ok guys i have a question my g/f has a 95 integra ls b18b1 auto trans the car has about 230k miles on it and still runs like a champ but the trans as been grabing hard for about a year i've ingored it cause i've been busy on my car but the other day when we went out i was at a stop like the water temp moved up to half way and i seen some smoke comin from under the hood so i pulled over and poped the hood and it was the rad over flow tank steaming and bolling i opened it to release the pressure so forth and then the trans acted like it was stuck whn i went to try and pull off it wouldn't go but it sounded like it wanted to then after a second of moven the gears up and down it finally went i was like that's not normal and then the next day the manc req light came on but i reset it because it doesnt give codes anyways. but today i changed her trans fliud and it was jet black and the magnet on the plug has small metal shavens on it. my g/f step dad says tha's normal well i replaced fliud and it still grabin hard will it make a differents if i replace the trans fliter or not or is just about time to replace the trans? and if its the filter can someone tell me how to pull it out and replace it maybe a digram or something thanks alot

How were there only two periods in that entire paragraph?

Anyway..time for a new trans, and it has nothing to do with the overheating.

that's what i thought but my g/f's dad swears up and down that its just the filter idc what he says anyways i gave her the car . sorrie about the period's lol just been a busy day!
