Default the best engine for turbo?

what i want to know is what is the best engine for a turbo i want to get 250 + whp i like the h22a engine but i have herd that thay have weak blocks i am also considering the 2.3 and the b18

any b18a/b/c. easy to swap into a civic and can take 250+whp on the stock block.

Pretty much every honda motor can handle a turbo, it's just that some have their weak points. B16As have high compression, B20s have siamese sleeves, H22s have fmr sleeves.

The best bang for the buck with turbo would be a B18b in my opinion. You can get a full motor swap for like 750$ and can make 250whp easily.

3rd gen h22 has a closed block which is more reliable for turbo but in my experience a boosted b18a/b is the best bang for the buck. Make sure to tune though. Mine ran 11.6 @126 on a built bottom end. I blew up the rings on the stock internals with 12 lbs.

dude any of honda's engines can get you what you want, shit My EG civic on D16z6 is pushing upwards of 238 HP on stock internals, and Im having ZERO problems out of it.. Make sure if you are running a D you have that shit tuned right, or Bye Bye D
