Default slight header problem, need help

alright i have a b16 swap, an today i was installing my new header on my car an my stock header has 2 o2 sensors an my new one only has 1 socket for it.. how would i go upon wiring this if i need 2 sensors in my header an the aftermarket one only has 1 slot.. is it possible to splice the one wire into two, an plug it into both sockets an it will read off of one o2 sensor instead of 2? understand what im saying? kind of like trick the ecu thinking there is two sensors when there is only 1? .. anyone got a suggestion or had to deal with this before

You have an OBD0 engine don’t you? I’m having the exact same issue. I went ahead and hooked it up w/ no O2 sensors and haven’t had any issues yet. But I do not recommend this. I don’t drive mine daily. I’m currently looking for a way to properly correct this. Let me know what you find and I’ll do the same.

yea right now i dont have an 02 sensor in there.. i drove it yesterday n didnt seem to have a problem but im sure it does somethin that u mite not notice an fucks with emissions im sure an gives the check engine light an another ecu code.. on another forum i asked the same question, and someone told me that 1 of the o2 sensors you wont need, which is the one with the green plug, an the one with the white plug is the one u plug into ur new header an into the socket that u unpluged near the engine, follow me? .. well i havent tried it yet, havent had the time i had to work today an was with my girl before that.. so i will try it tomorrow wen i wake up, an i guess you could try it to if u get around to it, knowin me i prolly wont lol but if i do an it works ill let u kno, an if u try it an it works plz let me kno.. or if u find another way around it

Well from what I've found out the problem is that they didn't make any B16A OBD0 engine in the US and all after market headers are made for OBD1 which they did make in the US. So I've been told...

Now I'm researching to see if we couldn't use a OBD1 O2 sensor because it was a 4 wire sensor and we had 2 O2-sensors that were 2 wire... I'll let you know.
