a problem i cant figure out
ok i have a 95 h/b si with a ls and b16 tranny however the car only goes up to a crapy 6k rev what is causing this i know it has to go to 7k with the ls ecu i have in there
if your engine is running too rich, it may be that your o2 sensor is wired wrong or needs to be replaced... if it runs somewhat normally with full power, then you may have the wrong ecu... recheck your wiring... 90% of swap problems are wiring related...
1) How do you KNOW it's a p75? That's why I asked. The center set of numbers on the bar code on the ECU will tell you what the ECU is. If it says P75 then you have a P75. Might as well check to be 100% sure since it's easy to do.
2) Have you checked the code for the CEL? It doesn't just come on for no reason. Jump the ECU and test it. If you don't know how, look in the Civic section in the Online Resources thread for instructions. Report what the code is and that will help us help you.
