i do have a b18c1. and if i had the money to build my head i would do:
-rlz ported head
-rocket m22xx cams and valvetrain
-stock itr valves
i didnt come to this conclusion overnight. i spent lots of hours on HAN and HT reading and researching. i suggest you do the same.

Whats your end HP goal?
Whats your Budget?
Who's performing the work?
Do you have another mode of transportation for the downtime of your teg?
Take all this into consideration before making a decision on what to do. By the time you buy all that stuff, you can make alot more power in other areas on the same amount of cash.
well i would be doin it slowly so i can drive it.. i know when i put some of the part's i wont be drivin it for atleast 2 day's.. my goal is for it to be hella fast.. i'm not gonna bore it or anything like that.. i'm tryin to get lots of torque...
:werd:
And to gain the power your speaking of, id still recomend getting a second block to build as you have the money. Then you dont experience as much downtime. You build on the block until you have everything, get a F.I. setup, then you take a week or two & swap it in. After that you can sell your stock block. Just my 2 cents...

well you wont get lots of torque unless you bore it out or stroke it. or boost it.
