Default 3" exhaust for h22a?

Hallo.

There's an h22a sitting in my engine bay right now.

After the stock exhaust manifold, however, there is nothing. The stock exhaust system was corroded to crap, so I ripped it all off/out.

Should I get a 3" system w/ high-flow cat and universal muffler, or should I get a complete system?

What kind of tube diameter does the h22a need? Obviously it will be more than the stock diameter...

I would go 2.5" unless you plan on going turbo, then 2.75-3" would be good. If you decide to go custom, make sure it's mandrel bent.

h22 loves the 2.5 inch header back

no cat for me.... i was too poor to replace the damn random tech cat that got pluged... so i welded 2.5 inch pipe from the header to the exhaust cause i cut off the resonator cause damn the inlet to the resonator was stock ass inch pipe and 2.5 inch coming out

I'm not planning on going turbo anytime soon, but I WAS going to gut the engine and get the lovely folks at crower to fill it out again.

If I had an all motor beast, (~230hp) would 2.75 do the trick?

I know some people upgrading to 70mm exhaust, but that's around 250+ all motor.
