arp headstuds help

I just bought some new ARP headstuds but realized they were the ones for a b18c1 or b18c5 motor. My motor is a jdm b16a. The ones i got are 11mm and bigger than my oem b16 ones, I was wondering will this cause a problem, the guy i got them from said he used the same headstuds before on b16 motors all the time.... Any help would benefit me, jus wanna make sure when i go put them in, that i dont have a problem

i honestly wouldnt take the chance if i were you.. i mean.. they might fit, but you never know if itll cause clearance issues or anything else for that matter.. exchange them for the ones made for your head..

They should work. Considering the B18C5 uses the same head casting as the B16, there is no reason they shouldn't work.

If it was me, I would get the correct ones, Just to be safe.

thats what i said that they are different part numbers, but was wondering was there anyone out there who had the same arp headstuds(208-4303) i got that used them on a b16 motor cuz the shop only has these in stock and i wanna get my motor going, need help pronto....

Ok... so... getting your motor going with the potential of it blowing a head gasket and setting you back quite a bit is worth you putting incorrect head studs on just because a shop will have to order the right ones? Dude... did you think about that before you asked? Just take them back and get the right ones... :uhhok:
