I'd call it stolen for that price. I think the going rate is about $3k, but don't quote me on that. PM the guys that have them in this section. There are 2 major threads going right now.

i'd stay away from the a3. if you want to do a k20 swap, find an a2 or jdm k20a.

That's the going price for a k20a3 (EP3 Civic Si or base RSX).

It's a good starting platform, but for what's needed to get it going, you'd be better off with a B Swap. Unless you plan on boosting the A3 motor since it's good for low 300's on stock internals.

good info...... Thanks to everyone that put in any! After reading all this and talking with David from hybrid-racing.com , I've decided on going with a b swap. It will be much cheaper for what I need; I just need a new motor for my daily driver, but want a couple extra hp's.

So all-in-all its not worth it to spend 1600 on the motor and tranny and then spend roughly 4k to get all parts needed for the swap, when I can do a Bxx swap much cheaper and get what I need for my daily driver. If anyone is interested in the K20A3, check it out http://www.hondaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=17593 so this guy can get rid of it.

Also if anyone knows of a Bxx swap with tranny, lemme know........ I'll be looking. Thanks again for all your info!
