i've never tried it, but have seen one for sale, and it was for both gens. so it should work.

I'm pretty sure 92-00 is universal, exhaust-wise.

are civics able to remove the stock axle-back and bolt on a new one? or does it need to be welded?

i could get the axle back attached, but it wouldnt meet cuz the shoulder bolts wouldnt bolt down far enough, what would probably work is either drilling out the stock cat-back for larger bolts, or finding smaller ones than what comes with the exhaust.
