Hey, i plan to buy a 94-01 Integra (doesnt really matter what model to me) and give it the JDM ITR look, also i plan to turbo the engine but i need you guys to help me figure out which way would be the reasonable amount of money to spend on this project. Im not too sure if i should go with the H22 or just get myself a GS-R and work with that.IM really trying to stick with honda engines becuz i want the VTEC you kno, since turbo lags and all,i thought it'd b nice for VTEC to help kick in before the turbo does.one thing im wondering is if i swap it into a H22 does that mean i need my A/C taken out..i dont really want that. If it makes it easier for you guys, im trying to hit the 10s or 11s in the 1/4 mile but if u guys have any ideas/suggestions for Modifications to make my car faster (other then turbo) ur help will be surely needed

1 last final question, if i plan to buy an ECU should i install it Before getting my car Turboed or after??, Thanks again

 

I think most people DON'T want VTEC with boost... VTEC won't kick in before the turbo in most cases anyway.

To hit 10s, you're going to have to do quite a bit...probably won't be a daily driver anyway.

You might better off starting with a forced induction forum.

 

man your dreaming, 10sec, what are trying to turn your car into an drag only car, me and my uncle swapped in an JDM ITR motor and its the best motor i have ever driven, i have driven the type-r before, have driven an B16A before but not an H22, but i have smoked an H22 with my car, so just try to go all motor, and see what ##'s you can get out of your engine, my uncle taught me a lot about hondas, and the best way to know you car is to use up all the power available first, then turbo it in the near future...

 

To fast for a reliable integra. Just do all motor and with decent mods, you'll be happy

 

You are starting with huge hopes and dreams. Start small and work your way up since you have a lot of research to do.

 

you want to run 10's yet still retain ac? re-evaluate your plans buddy.
