Default B16A2: Must I have ECM Connector A??

I have a 98 Civic with 99-00 Si wiring harness and B16A2 motor and tranny.

Car runs great, BUT, when trying to install A/C this past weekend, I did the troubleshooting in the service manual and ...there's NO ECM / PCM Connector A (Connector A has the a/c signals as well as some other sensors) I only have Connector B and Connector C - I even verified 4 times to make sure I was not out of my mind.

Do all 99-00 B16A2 Si's have ecm connector A plugged in? Can I buy just the plug and hopefully it piggytails to an exisiting connector or something? Would this be a common sight for cars that were never optioned with A/C ??

Thanks!
P.S. everything works though, gauge cluster, heater controls, everything works fine.
