does this crap ever stop?
some of you may remember last week when my car would cut fuel in the middle of driving, and it turned out there was a short. After having fixed the short, now the fuse on that line keeps blowing. I decided I was tired of dealing with that wire and ran a straight one from the battery to where it was supposed to go on the main relay, with a fuse in the middle of the line. Now that fuse is blowing, so since this is a fresh straight wire, I can guess that it's got to be something on the main relay drawing too much power. Since the only things that draw current from the relay are the ECU and the fuel pump, and swapping out the ECU wasn't the answer, can I assume that it's a fuel pump?
