Default fuel pressure

hi i got 94 integra ls on boost i'm boosting 8psi i got a ecu in the car that's tuned to 10 pounds i have 450 dsm injectors and my fuel pressure is at 20 psi i want to go to 12 psi but when i do my car in second gear not everytime but a couple times i punch it when the car get higher in the rpm around 5500 6000 it sound like it hit limiter then i switch gears and it goes away why does it do this is it the plugs i have platinum 4's they are around the plug they black but the core is white gray color is it my ecu programed for only 10 psi no higher then that or am i running to rich no black smoke comes out of my muffler so i don't know around what psi should i be around and when i turn the boost up should i turn the fuel pressure up to please someone help me out if you know what i should do thanks.

i don't think it's that when you detonat the car back fires my car does not back fire

When you detonate it will sound like you hit a rev limiter.

what if i retard the timing some more i think it's at stock right now maybe if more then stock can that be it

Timing has a factor in detonation...as does the amount of boost you're running, and the amount of fuel going into your motor. You need to get it tuned by a professional, and not just fuck around adjusting it by yourself...that is unless you feel like rebuilding your motor.

i tried retarding the timing somemore it got worst it didn't let me get higher in the rpm i also bump up the fuel on 8 it's perfect but on 10 psi it starts to bog out whatelse can i try tomarrow i'm going to get ngk 6 is there anything better than that i don't have a msd do you think that it can be that i'm not buring up the fuel quick enough at 10 psi and 450 injectors where should i be around

You should be around a tuner. That's where you should be around. And do yourself a favor, get NGK 7's.

ok i got ngk6 boom problem solved i drove hard for a 15 min drive on and off the spark plugs show signs of running rich a little too rich but i'm gonna leave it like that and just replace them one or twice a month something like that thanks for you help
