grinding 3rd gear...bad syncro?

grinding 3rd gear...bad syncro?
its a gsr tranny. it only grinds while upshifting to 3rd above 3500 rpm so im thinking its a bad syncro. also, with the car in gear i can move the shifter all the way to the left and right without it coming out of gear.
