The weirdest problem - Any help appreciated
Well remember when I said that he wired the fuel pump wrong. This cause cyl 2 to flood with about 2 inches of gas. Then he started to crank the motor over, and we heard this frightful noise, he said its from the starter. So he proceded, heard the noise about 3 times. Turns out the we HYDROLOCKED the motor with gas, and luckily we only blew the headgasket. THe car was expelling a ton of white smoke and running all weird. So i came up with the headgasket being blown by hydrolocking the motor with gas, theory, that proved right... Well this sux. We already took the head off, he'll get me a new gasket and maybe resurface the head (having it inspected by machine shop). Sux that all these things were brand new... I never thought that an engine could become hydrolocked by gas flooding the cyl. but it makes sense... Well hope thats the last of my problems with this thing

Hydrolock happens because liquid is incompressible, so it will happen with any liquid including gas...
Did you check your rods??? Make sure you do, because my motor got hydrolocked after it sucked water in through the CAI, before there were such things as AEM bypass filters... And my head gasket wasn't even blown...
My number 1 cylinder ConRod was bent like a banana...
Make sure it didn't bend it because if so, you gotta tear down the whole motor
Besides who does your work??
I'd make him pay for it b/c obviously he doesn't know what he's doing if he's cranking it with ANY visible liquid in the cylinders...
Yea, it was my friend but he replaced everything for free. I was lucky enough that the head gasket went out, because in such cases there would be no further damage, and also i was cranking the motor to start it, and the starter should not have enough power to bent a rod... am i right?
Thanx for all your help

For the injectors, each one is supposed to get (+) battery voltage from the main relay as long as the key is turned on. The ECU closes & opens the ground side of the circuit to fire each injector. Remove the pin(s) for whatever injector is flooding, to see whether the injector continues to spray. You should be able to make the injector fire by shorting it's ECU wire to ground. There's probably still an injector circuit that's wired wrong.
Well the ecu doesn't throw anymore codes... All the wires were matched correctly, all my injectors were matched and i doulble checked it... Could the misfiring be from my distributor not being timed??
misfiring is from your misfiring system....evos do the same thing when properly tuned for downhill runs on akina. (anyone who uses this sentence as a signature will be dead!!!) allright...all jokes aside. lol if your only sympton is backfiring now...i would double check your firing order. spark plug wires probaly in the wrong order.
yea its fixed, my friend who wired the ecu left the fuel pump and inj. 2 wires uncovered (he did not crimp them as supposed to) so they touched and thats what cause the continuous spraying while ign. was on. But yea i went back and redid everything right and now im glad to say its working great.
