What should I do...?
Well I recently acquired a jdm b16a complete short block (pr3 rods, p30 pistons, p30 crank, i think, or pr3) and im getting ready to put in into my teg. The guy who I got it from said that it was all done by a machine shop. The block has 0 miles, been hot tanked, honed, and more. My question is, should I trust that the machine shop did it or should I take it apart and check for clearences, bad bearings, and any missing rings... You never know what people do, thats why Im asking...
what good is a b16 short block to you?
i mean sure it will work if you have a blown block but but if you already have a b18 why are you going to downgrade to a b16--just get a b18 shortblock to replace it with
what is your reasoning for downgrading to such a gutless motor?
vtec is not a right answer BTW

no, it's the gross ammount of torque you are losing... dont get me wrong, the vtec will help out but the 12% increase in displacement would most likely be the better choice for the heavier integra.
