Default 2000 gsr jdm b18c into 98 Civic HX (non-vtec) wiring?

ok im going to be putting in this swap as title says. what engine harness do i need, what ecu harness conversions do i need..etc.. keep in mind i want this to be as easy as possible. im not sure but i think my car is obd2a and the motor is obd2b? not sure... help would be greatly appreciated
thanks guys
OH and i would need to pass smog as well..hehe i already bought a 97 gsr ecu so that there isnt an immobilizer or any kind of restriction..that might help for which harness i need to get. and i have the original 2000 gsr engine harness too.

ive heard things like using a 98 ex engine harness on the motor...but its a 2000 gsr motor..so i dont know if that will still work? thanks again

you can use the gsr harness i believe. youre still going to have to run the wires for vtec, knock, manifold. i dont remember how many wires exactly. i think 5 or 6. i recommend getting an obd1 ecu with a harness so you can splice into it.

I believe you would just use your stock harness and just add/extend the necessary wires. Since your car is obd2a, the 97 GSR ecu will plug right into your stock harness.
