Prevenitive Matanance Time!!!!
When was the last time you checked you hoses? Are they week/flexable in any areas? If so, time to change those! Look at your belts... If there are more than 6 cracks per inch (And I mean tose tiny little ones, yes those) those gotta go to! When was the last time YOU did YOUR oil change? (remember to run you car 15 minutes before oil change) Check your air filter(shine a flashlight on it, if you can see the light on the other side or if the light is dim its time for a new one)... Have you EVER checked the radiator for cloging? >>>>---Feel free to continue this matinance guide---<<<

Keep in mind no mechanic will do a job as good a you will, after all its your car! The list here is my 2 week tuneup guidlines... I think Im missin somethin thoe? You tell me, Ive only been goin to sequia for 5 weeks!
Timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, cap and rotor, fuel filter, spark plugs.....not 2 week tune ups but necessary maintenance.

I always check my oil and water levels before ever starting the engine for the first time of the day.

Verry good! If every one did we would put mechanics out of work!
As for the new honda owners, (or at least i notice with my frends around town) they like to buy cool stuff for ther car air intake/new timing gears/exaust and so on... but they do not mantane the motor! WTF is that? you will get 3 times the HP if you keep your motor WELL tuned then you would if you bought the mods. Do they listen>>>>NOOOOOOO!
