adjustable headers?

what do people mean when they say an adjustable header? like the SMSP adjustable headers? how is it adjustable?

I think they adjust it for you, and weld it in place.

from that picture, looks like you can get a separate collector piece from the "4 into 2 runners"... that particular picture looks like it has the longer collector.

I was thinking the same thing

Now I'm curious to see a dyno comparison of that... looks like it should have a flatter torque curve but almost behave like a 4-1 at real high RPM since the merging distance is so short...
