Default Turn b18a1 into b18c1

Here's my plans. I've got a b18a1 block sitting in my garage waiting for me to pour money into. My hopes are to try to get it as close as a b18c1 as possible. Reason I'm thinking this way is, my Haynes book says the difference between the base model engines(b18a1,b18b1) & (b18c1) is in the heads. I know LS motors don't have oil jets & crank girdles. But I want the long lasting reliability on GSR motor. Here's the plan: B18a1 block,GSR crank, GSR eagle connecting rods, GSR crank girdle & oil jets, ITR pistons, Gsr head P&P, Ferrea valves, Manley valve springs, crane cams, skunk2 intake manifold, eldebrock throttle body & good tuning. I know throwing the GSR crank and rods will make it have a smaller displacement. I just want good power and relialibity for my civic eg. Plus I want to be in the low 13's in a quarter of a mile. I'm up for opinions.

It's probably cheaper to sell the b18b block and buy a b18c block to start with....if you plan to swap cranks, machine in the oil passages for the squirters etc

Use forged pistons instead of the ITR ones and you won't even need the oil jets.
