Hey can someone help me out? Where do I put the ob1 code reader in my 4 door 92civic lx?

right above the interior fuse box

It is actually right in the area where the ECU is (passenger kick panel), It's a three wire connector which should be plugged into a light green rubber protector along with a two wire connector which is used for jumping codes.

good looking out i have a 92 hatch and mine was by the fuse box that is where the advanced here in town ran it and cleared it and everything

Its weird how yours is by the fuse box, although I've never seen any that is located there. You do clear the codes by removing the ECU fuse in the engine compartment.

i was talking about interior like when my engine light came on i went up there and they put the obd scanner in a spot above the fuse box and then after telling me what it was they cleared it thats all
