nope, bore the cylinder from 81mm to 81.5mm if needed. Contrary to what some believe you will not gain any actual displacement. You may go from say 1.795 to 1.80ltr....
Honing cleans up the cylinders when there is minimal distortion or damage....
If the cylinders are too out of round you will need to bore them and then add some cross hatch action...
Standard over bore is 20 thou.......

FYI,
Boring get you in the general vacinty of the desired cylinder diameter, honing get your to the precise cylinder diameter...
