Default gsr motor

i have a 88 crx dx. i recently swaped in a gsr motor b18c. my distributor went out on me. i have no idea why. i started to look into buying a new distributor and i needed the part #. it says td-22u. i went to buy a new distributor online and come to find out that is an obd0 from a (i think) 88-91 crx si or something like that. but i am pretty sure from a b16a motor. i think my computer is obd0. the shop who did the swap said they were changeing it over to obd0 but i have no idea why. i wanna know if this is something that is commonly done with b18c swaps or could this be the reason my distributor failed on me................ also my crx intrument cluster has a tach already but its like it cant read the actual rpm i am reving to. the needle jumps around like crazy. i never had a problem with the tach before the swap. any suggestions what could be the problem. thanks i could use the help

I think your problem is that your swap and engine are both ghetto and there's no way in hell any of us are going to know what you're using.
