Default D16a3 yanked toss in a D16a8/9???

Checking the capatibility on these two, what mods would have to be performed to make the setup complete?

Will the mounting match up?
The tranny as well? or will i need to switch out trans.?

yes,yes i know K20A's are the best to switch out though lemme see this project first.

ok did my research, found out that typically in whatever series you're in be it D,B, or K then the tranny will mount up as long as you have the same series .My example D16a3 being switched out with a D16a8/9 .There will typically be no mods to be performed due to mounts are the same for D-series and tranny will work as well{<----this I did not know-->plus noone wanted to let me know {NOOB*}ok though if i wanted to throw a B-series in where a D-series was i would need to change up the engine mounts as well some of the wiring and typically you want to keep the trans that matches the engine so the tranny will be yanked as well. Thanks to myself ,If i'm wrong someone tell me..LOL
