Obd 2 obd1

Hey I have a b18b and was wanting to convert to obd1, I know it is useful so that I can actually override my ecu to pick up power, ie safc. I have heard on a b20 you make 15 hp just with the conversion, will I make any on a b18b?

i don't know where your from but in CT you wouldn't pass emmisions with that conversion

I am from canada so the emmisions is not an issue here, Likly shoudl have said that but it honestly never crossed my mind
