Default eagle rods and oem pistons

how do I fit 73A00 oem pistons onto LS eagle rods? Maybe I am stupid. OK I admit I am stupid. What prevents me from putting P73A00 Type R pistons on Eagle rods? I certainly like this idea because I will get the compression I need and the reliability of the Eagle rod. So how ridiculous am I being?

thanks, who'd a thunk it??? I thought it was just a sizing that could be shaved or fitted. Darn pins!!!!!!!!! I'm going to watch the giants play football. The eagles and washington play this week. I am an eagles fan but no longer wish to see or hear from them this season. Darn pins - they reminded me of my eagles!!!!!!!

I am matching a b18a1 block with a b18c1 head. I blew it and got P73a00 Type R pistons for thier compression. Something was fishy. So I got a set of brand new OEM Type R p73A00 pistons. A rookie mistake.
haha. joke is on me, won't be the last. I have an LS crank and LS eagle rods ready to go.
I am having trouble. I have to take the B18a1 cylinders out to 81.5 to prep them for good clearance. But all the 81.5 forged pistons that have vtec valve relief seem to come in over 12:1 CR. Oh well. For some reason I thought I could match the P73a00 with the eagle rods to acheive a 11.3 CR. I wanted to stay simple and avoid the Hondata 200. I yam a laugh.
I will be listing the OEM pistons soon. Crazy. Lost my patience. Lost my mind. I wish I was on drugs. I would have an excuse and wouldn't feel this embarassment. haha.

sometimes you just gotta say %^*&** it!!!!!!!!! haha.
purchased mid-dome Endyn roller wave pistons and rings to fit my LS forged Eagle rods. CR = 12.2 with the B18c1 chamber. Now I will have to tune using the Hondata s200. Well. that's life.
I now have a NIB set of (4) P73Aoo pistons and rings for sale. They are nice. I will go put some pictures up in the classified section. RFT

the Endyne pistons are sanded - no sharp edges. be-a-uu-ti-ful. Now, haha, my dentist just stole the 1200 I had saved for the block build. But, the Hondata s200 is purchased to take care of the 12.2 compression. I am using the IT-R camshafts and adj cam gears so tuning will be no problem.
