i put a b18c5 on my 93 del sol and when the vtec kicks in it feels like it slippin.

no i thought it was the tires cuz my tires were bald but i just got new tires today and it isnt the problem just whenever the vtec kicks in the rpm goes up but theres no power to it

i didnt think it would be the clutch cuz its basically new but if it isnt the clutch what else would it be??
