i swear by them. but i wanted to know whether or not people think thier computer dealy is any good.. should i go for JET or AEM? is it worth the $1000 or more? should i just forget it and go with HONDATA?

pls. no BS replies (get a turbo, new car, H22 swap etc)


btw i have basic bolt ons...V2, header, exhaust, pulleys, 15 inch rotas and toyo proxes 4 tires

Overkill for sure.

Yes, it is worth the $1K+ price tag, but only if you have a setup that would benefit that much from it and you definitely don't have a setup that would even come close to needing any sort of standalone ECU. Personally, I think even Hondata is overkill for mild bolt-ons. Until you stick some high lift cams in and have something that requires tuning, a VAFC will be more than enough.

ok cool ill do that. i do plan on having Gude rebore my engine head (bore exhaust and intake ports on engine head, bore out intake manifold, new TB, new high rise cams.) ill get a VAFC...now if i only i knew what that was.

The VAFC is made by Apexi. It is just a simple air fuel controller with vtec engagement changing capabilities.
