clutch, pressure plate; cable, hyrdro
i want to use an itr pressure plate in a y1 cable transmission. i know the clutch disc is the same for hydro and cable trannsmissions, but what about the pressure plate? thanks
you just need a cable throwout bearing.
Plus you don't bolt the clutch to the trans, you bolt it to the engine lol.
One good thing about the itr clutch and flywheel is that it's pressure plate uses 9 bolts instead of 6 like most of the other oem flywheel/clutches.
This makes it a bit stronger and less prone to slipping.
Bearing wise there is only the two bearings, the pilot and the throw out. I think you need to change both of them as it is simple to do while you are in there and they are high wear bearings in hondas. Try and get OEM replacements or at least Japanesse made bearings
