Default Skunk 2 intake mainfold tuning ?

i just installed my skunk2 intake mainfold into a b18b. i'm having trouble . seams like it been bogging alot. the idel is horrable as well. i tried to make the best of it and adj it to make but only got about 3-400 rpm at idel. it bounces to 100 rpms ever few mins as well. i raise the fuel pressure to tried to get ride of the bogging . that helps alot but i still am not sure if i am doing this all right. do i have to advance or retard the timing gear ?

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Double check all the connections and harnesses. Are you throwing any codes? Can you hear the vacuum leak?

i lable all the sensors but i'll double check that as well. so far no engine light. i don't think there is a vacuum leak anywhere and i will double check on that. But this is the werid part. when i drive around . i hear a small whistle noise when i gas it. been woundering about that as well.

i bough one from kragens(a near by autopart store). it wasn't the paper one nor copper one. it is a silver gasket. i replace all of the O rings on the fuel injectors just to be sure. i found no difference after replacing them.
