Default stock parts balanced?

Do stock parts such as crank/flywheel come balanced? I assume that the crank is balanced with itself, is it not? Soem people are confusing me about this. :-/

yes, the flywheel is balanced to itself. You could put any 91 Civic EX flywheel onto any other 91 Civic EX, for example. I'm pretty sure that the crankshaft is balanced along with the crank pulley, since the crank pulley doubles as the harmonic damper. So if you swap a crank or a crank pulley, you probably want to have those two parts balanced as a unit.
