Default Need help making an ecu decision.

I currently am driving a b16a. It's obd0 and I bought an obd1 mugen chipped ecu. It has 2 chips in it and I believe it only can be program further by hondata. The ecu came off a turbo drag car. Well my problem is that I want to put this into my car and I'm afraid that I am afraid I do not have the performance and will actually lose power putting it in. I have Int./Ex./Head./fuel pressure reg./Type R intake manifold/Skunk 2 cam gears. I will be putting Nos on soon but currently I do not want to suffer a power loss putting eco in.

It might acutally be running to rich if you put that in due to the fact it was set up for turbo on a drag car...

Thats one of my concerns. Do you think I could regulate it w/ my fuel pressure reg? I'm also concerned about the ignition timing being different because it was used on a turbo car.

No, you need to have it completely reburned for a N/A setup. The timing and fuel maps will be completely off and may blow your motor.

Thanks guys for the info so far!

on't run it unless you want to risk damage to your car.
It's probably tuned for large injectors. the boost tables won't matter because you'll never see boost with your n/a set-up.

You still need it reburned. As stated before, the maps have probably been trimmed down quite a bit to compensate for the lower duty cycle of a larger injector, so running a stock sized injector on that map will cause your engine to lean out dangerously, if not completely blow it.

<-- i can tune u a great basemap for cheaper then what you would find anywhere around the inet, and i guarantee my tunings, its nothing u can use with nitrous cause nitrous has to be street tuned or dyno tuned by the person doing the tuning but i got a few nice maps with some mildly build b16's that hit low 14's in si's.. hit me up if u want more info.
