Default H22 integra Swap... estimated time?

Hey everybody... this is my first post here, I've read alot of threads in this forum for a long time but have never posted b4... Ok here it goes, I currently have an auto 98' integra. I bought it a year ago when I knew nothing about cars and have since then undergone a dramatic change. Well anyways, a few months ago I bought an h22 for my integra and almost have all the parts, the only problem I'm having now is time... I'm currently in highschool and I have a brother who finished up school at UTI automotive school, and he's ganna help me swap it in... The only problem is I don't wanna go too long without my car cause I wanna drive it to school, don't wanna ride the bus, after driving to school I can't go back... So I was hoping that 2 weeks on Christmas break would be enough time... So my question is, do you think 2 weeks is enough to swap an h22 into an integra with 2 guys working on it without a whole lot of experience....
Thx

really? My brother and his friend said this would take quite some time, like weeks, theres not just the engine, but the wireing, putting in the new shifter/linkage, axles, etc... O and a quick question to anyone out there, does anyone know if you can keep the stock radiator with the h22 in the car? Or do you have to get an aftermarket one with a super slim fan. Thx

The wiring won't be difficult, there's plug and play harnesses that require minimal splicing now. You'll need to have custom engine mounts (www.hasport.com has 'em), and maybe relocation of a few items, but I'd be very surprised if it took you longer than 3 days.

if there's you, your brother, and his friend, and you have two weeks, you really should be able to get it done. This is assuming you have all thr appropriate tools/stands etc etc...just wake up, eat breakfast, work on it, eat lunch, work on it, eat dinner, work on it, sleep, repeat.

if you guys do more than just a couple of hours every day, and your brother just graduated from UTI and you've been reading a lot about it, you should be driving your car all nice and fine within two weeks...unless god forbid something bad happens...

either way, good luck with the swap man, should be fun
