ok here we go i am 99.9999999% sure the starting problem is actually the main relay becuse i can hear it click on when the fuel pump kicks on but then it kicks right off and then the fuel pump kicks off and back to crank only now here is where shit gets saucy and technical

car had d16 vtec engine now has d15b engine has p28 comp i looked, it does not match the mounting bracket so i think someone switched comps
wiring harness is still for d16 vtech now i think the main relay is for the d15 non vtec

my dillema is do these work together can something cause the main relay to go out becuse the ecu and engine and main relay dont match up ??

is the p28 for a sohc vtec ( i know it is for a vtec but i dont know which) and how do i know which main relay is right ?

NO help for the poor del sol

just put in a new main relay, same thing kicks on for 3 seconds then kicks right off so now where should i go, ecu or starter switch?
