H23 Swap Help!!! H-series Related
Ok I have a H23a1 from a '92 Prelude into my 1994 Honda Accord Ex.
The engine runs GRRRREEEEAT once started. If I let the car sit and run for an hour, It would still run like a champ. But once I drive it the engine light comes on and it bogs once the car is warmed.
If I start the car for the first time of the day, ( cold engine ) the car would runs/drives GRRRRRREAT untill the car is warmed up and then the engine light again goes on...the engine bogs. I can actually drive the car for 3 miles untill this happens. The engine also runs STRONG untill this process happens.
I have replaced the IAC valve which helped make the car run better with out the RPMS jumping. What else could be the problem?
I have been told of a EGR blocker which consist of a special gasket that blocks one of the EGR valves. and this should make the ECU remap itself. anyone hear of this?
