Default b18b idle pronlem? HELP

I recently put a b18b in my 1992 civic hatch. The idle is acting a little weird, it goes from 1200 to 850, then back to 1200. Is there anything that I can do? Do I need to take it and get a tuneup or what can I do by myslef??? I also put NGK Iridium Plugs in it. Can anyone help me?????

double check everything, vaccum lines, make sure your throttle body has a good seal.

I'm not sure how to clean it, but the IACV is the Idle Air Control Valve if I remember correctly. It controls what RPM your car Idles at. Sorry I don't know how to clean it, but I know others here know how to.

why did you create another thread? its the idle air control valve. its located on the back on the intake manifold. its held up by 2 bolts, unbolt them and clean with carb cleaner.
