if you have the money go for the b18c5, but since your looking for something under 4k for total swap (mounts, axles, etc.). id go for the b18c1 or the b16a.

h22 is heavy. are frankenstein motors smog legal where you live? itr motor is bad-ass but expensive as all hell. i would probably opt for the gsr, or build the hell out of a b18b1 and then boost it. the gsr/itr motor is going to be pretty light which is a major advantage. you want the car to handle well, right?

h22a is not much heavier then a b18c1/5


i would get a b18b.. best bang for buck and if you want to boost it, then this is what you want..
