Default OBD2 Question.

I am new here, and sorry for the basic question, but have a 1999 Acura 3.2TL and would like to know if there is a way to retreive check engine codes without the use of a scanner, like with OBD1 you could jump two terminals on the ADL link connector and count how many times the check engine light blinks to figure out the code, does this work on OBD2 ?
Thanks.

Yes, OBD2 also has that feature. Check around the area of the ECU for the harness that needs to be jumped.
